Key Responsibilities


  • Ensure that all maintenance performed on FAD Fleet is carried out in accordance with approved documentation.
  • Ensure that the MCC provides technical expertise and advises the maintenance teams (in-house and contracted) on technical issues pertaining to FAD Fleet.
  • Ensure that MCC closely monitors the performance of all maintenance activities and coordinates the timely release of aircraft to support FAD flight schedule.
  • Follow the established communication process with all stakeholders in the airline.
  • Monitor all aircraft technical delays and coordinates with OCC, Maintenance Planning and Aircraft Scheduling to minimize any impact on the flight schedule.
  • Effectively coordinate with all relevant stakeholders to ensure the subject aircraft is back in operation at the earliest in case of an AOG situation, and coordinate with all internal stakeholders for the best possible outcome to minimize any operational disruption.
  • Ensure that sound and timely technical advice is provided to aircraft dispatchers, maintenance teams, and flight crews regarding defects on operational aircraft and the release of aircraft to service."
  • Ensure that all aircraft defects are closely monitored, and corrective actions are taken to rectify the defects in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that the staff monitors the Aircraft Health Monitoring System and takes appropriate remedial action to keep the FAD Fleet in airworthy condition.
  • Allocate staff to identify and track repetitive aircraft defects until they are rectified.
  • Exercise technical oversight over FAD Fleet by reviewing defects reported and rectification actions taken to maintain high dispatch reliability.
  • Investigate aircraft delays and cancellations to identify contributory factors and provide technical guidance and advice to avoid recurrence.
  • Coordinate with Material Planner and AOG Desk for timely availability of spares, tooling and materials required for defect rectification.
  • Coordinate with FAD Line Planning Team for the planning and timely rectification of aircraft defects.

Requirements


  • BS Degree in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, or other technical field.
  • Valid Airframe/power plant or avionics license.
  • Management or Supervisory Experience required.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in aviation industry out of which 5 years in a MCC role.
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance, defect troubleshooting and rectification actions.
  • Good knowledge of using Aircraft Manufacturer’s Manuals (AMM/IPC/TSM/WDM/SRM…)
  • Ability to use and navigate through Maintenance Information System and write technical reports.
